What Grimsby is doing is amazing. No boarded-up, low retail in the downtown strip. Ask me to go to either Gore Park or downtown Grimsby. The answer is easy. It is just a good place to live and work. My brief time at NRB was really an eye opener. The NRB family runs that city.

Hamilton needs to develop the QEW strip. Forget the swamp. I love trains but you know the railyards make it impossible. And there doesn't seem anything will be done. Bratina wanted the rail yards moved towards Grimsby. the real waterfront should be Lake Ontario.

Start by raking the beaches of needles and beer glass. Ever go to Beachway Park in Burlington then cross the lift bridge to Hamilton. Disgusting difference. It's a metaphor for sure. I used to cycle that route down the rail trail from Up Kenilworth. Hamilton at one time had an amusement park there and I remember Bison and camping grounds. But don't worry Hamilton is turning that corner. it's going through a renaissance.
