I liked the scale of the towers better in that design being different heights, but the podium is WAY better in the new design.
Original plan there was 34 and 25 stories. City Hall asked them to lower it to 30, because as we all know, that 4 stories being trimmed off will save the planet.
Pretty bad when NIMBYism usually reserved for wacko neighbourhood associations is now in full effect at city hall.
