Man that is depressing. In an earlier career as a store director, I opened up a big box store (Toys R Us) in a new location (downtown Vancouver, back in the 90s) and it was the complete reversal (building up and fixturing/stocking).

And I thought that was depressing (truth be told, it was just extremely stressful)
