But the winner will have to spend megabucks on infrastructure for all that Amazon imagines as well as handing over the keys to the treasury to Jeff.

That's great about not giving them more subsidies, but $1.24 billion is a half trillion dollars company, that is a tiny amount of subsidies compared to the overall size of it's business. I'm sure if you looked at any other similarly sized company you could identify a billion or more in tax breaks.
