Not surprised with the sluggish outlook for the Convention Centre. I agree with daud's point on hotels and airport connectivity. Maybe when DND finally moves to their campus, a new hotel can be built across Rideau Centre. Or maybe just repurpose DNDs building as a hotel (although I would really love a new building there as the existing one is very boxy and boring). Not sure how they will address airport connectivity though. Even if O-train is extended to the airport and made into dual tracks, the stations are still far from downtown. Well, the Confederation Line can connect it, I guess.

I thought DND was going to keep the current building.
