Three years after the site’s $15 million purchase, a new condo tower at 287 East Houston Street is on the rise. The forthcoming 11-story building is being built by Vinci Partners and Hogg Holding and will bring 28 condo residences to the Lower East Side. Ascending from a mid-block site between Suffolk and Clinton streets, the project replaces a nondescript two-story building which was formerly used as a movie theater.
