I would have not problem living in Windsor. Plus the international border keeps the criminals away. But is Detroit really booming? I know the downtown has gotten better, and perhaps Midtown and Corktown are doing okay, but last time I went there a year and a half ago, I felt like the rest of the city was quite rundown and hopeless.
