Tank: Save the swale efforts move at glacial pace

Saskatoon’s Northeast Swale is regarded as a unique and sensitive ecological area formed by glaciers 10,000 years ago.
Efforts to protect it seem to mimic the glaciers that carved the area — but only in pace. Glaciers have immense capacity for change.
Monday’s meeting of city council’s environment, utilities and corporate services committee is expected to receive two reports that took years to prepare.
