Thanks to Slyfox for posting this link in the Houston thread. The article lists many Texas metros on here and their respective population projections. Here are they are:

Austin-Round Rock, TX
2015 Population: 2,000,860
2040 Projection: 3,971,820 (+98.5% change)

Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land, TX
2015 Population: 6,656,947
2040 Projection: 11,098,843 (+66.7% change)

San Antonio-New Braunfels, TX
2015 Population: 2,384,075
2040 Projection: 3,750,542 (+57.3% change)

Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington, TX
2015 Population: 7,102,288
2040 Projection: 10,903,288 (+53.5% change)

McAllen-Edinburg-Mission, TX
2015 Population: 842,304
2040 Projection: 1,274,681 (+51.3% change)

So, my first thought is, "Wow!" That's some crazy growth. My second thought is that I don't see Houston passing DFW in population...but maybe I'm wrong.
