At the time, I remember asking if this building had something to do with the Santa Fe Railroad because of the similarity to the train company's logo.

Er - I kind of remember that old post too. I believe this building was office and/or warehouse space for the old La Grande Station at Santa Fe Avenue and 2nd Street.
