I found Guy S May's men's furnishings shop at 523 S Olive Street in the CDs of the 1920s and 1930s. That's in the Biltmore Hotel. Here's a tie which confirms the location.

Was trying to find some late 40's hotel photos to discover this discrepancy, but no luck yet!

I wanted to comment on that tie, though. That particular one strikes me as really ugly. (Just me?) I do notice that the ties in the Julius photo in the window on the left have that same half circle design flourish as the other tie, only reversed. Perhaps Gus liked that design style for his ties. I like it, too, just not that one particular tie!
