Are we talking about a 2026 FIFA World Cup bid? If so its really not hard to do the math, in the unlikely event Canada gets the WC, let alone even qualify for it... How many CFL games will be held in Regina over the next 10 seasons, including grey cups? Let's say 100, using round numbers, being the amount of times they'd have to paint on the lines for each game, given that the weather affects the quality of the lines, times that by the number of hours required to paint/repaint the lines, times that by the number of people involved each week to paint/repaint the lines. It would be an enourmess amount of cash that would not have to be spent on maintaining the fields lines. Especially when the soccer WC isn't even going to be awarded to Canada. And that's just for CFL games not including CIS.
It's really not hard to understand this concept.
