I wonder if the same could be said for suburban developments up north...can't see those in the picture here. Due to it being the airport, they didn't have the mature trees, but those developments up north sometimes simply clear-cut to have a blank slate with which to start...I hate that. I agree 100% that the little "stick-trees" as I call them don't do much. It takes a couple of decades for those neighborhoods to feel more mature, and the trees have a lot to do with it in my opinion.
