This is where topography has helped, the towers themselves are 197 meters (thought window crane is at 201 apparently) and 188 meters, but their elevations are both above 200 meters due to being on higher ground.

Of course this does not make the buildings taller when standing near their base, but the hump in topography in the center of downtown does make them look taller in nearly all Vancouver skyline photos, since nearly all photos start from sea level (essentially, the tallest towers are over 200 meters in height at their tops from sea level).

Shot, makes sense in my mind but actually having trouble explaining it now, too many drinks last night...

So, to try again, in the photo above the first row of towers are at sea level, but the tallest towers are at elevations around 20 or so meters above sea level, helping them tower more over the foreground towers in Vancouver skyline shots than their built height alone would usually allow.

Okay, maybe that makes sense.

Either way, that is an amazing picture!
