^ This comment really perplexes me. These are not epic monoliths blotting out the sky, they don't even approach that. "...narrow canyon between the buildings..." Seriously? I know absolutely nothing about you so I'm only responding to what you said, not an impression I have about you. I'm just genuinely befuddled by your negativity about what looks to me like a gorgeous urban scene!

The two buildings might look good when viewed from the street, but it is not going to look so great to residents of Austin Proper when they step out onto their balconies where they will be fully visible to occupants of the offices next door. Similarly I can imagine that indoor privacy will be compromised at night since those same office windows will probably have partial views into many of the glass walled condo units. I just don't see how Austin Proper expects to sell these high priced units under those circumstances.
