With that said, I love infill projects like this. They are the continuous incremental change that adds up to a significant improvement in housing stock, retail stock, and neighbourhood character. They're also of a manageable size that small developers can undertake them, keeping this typology within reach of a far larger pool of developers than towers and more complicated mixed-use projects. Plus they're the perfect size for redeveloping corner strip malls and they can easily scale up when additional property assembly is accomplished.
