It's not that the schools are all that bad off, but St. Pius and Deshaye are bursting at the seams with students. St. Pius especially, with capacity somewhere in the neighbourhood of 250% right now. I'd venture to guess it's on the verge of exceeding fire code regulations for people in that building.
When the public school system has an issue like this they add a steel container to the side of the building and call it a day. (see. A.E. Perry). I'm glad the RCSD is looking into the permanent solution of a new building.
