I am actually starting to get a little tired of seeing San Fran and LA destroyed again and again and again (with token Sydney / Tokyo / and or Hong Kong thrown in for non American cities).
It doesn't need to be the climatic destruction scene or anything like that, but just even set in the middle of a montage would be nice.
It is strange, but Vancouver is more prominent in Japanese movies than they are in American movies, in fact a major Japanese movie was released last year, and the entire movie takes place in Vancouver (but hilariously it was filmed in Tokyo). Vancouver was even in the title of the film.
PS, the Japanese movie "Godzilla 2000" did have a Vancouver scene in the middle of its world wide destruction montage, but it was a fat kid eating chocolate watching the destruction on TV, haha!

I remember seeing a movie trailer a few years ago that had the Lions Gate Bridge falling apart. Can't recall the exact movie.
