When they only play a game a week (in some cases 2), it doesn't matter if TFC has right of first refusal on dates. In the worst case imaginable the Argos might have to go on the road for 3 weeks, which is not unheard of even for teams that don't share stadiums.
The situation with the Blue Jays was untenable when they would play like 11 home games in a row within 12 or 13 days and use that as an excuse to shaft the Argos with lousy dates (somehow the Argos managed to have a decent schedule until Rogers took over the Skydome).
