I don't see the issue with it? I'd much rather have our tax dollar spent on crumbling roads and infastructure and healthcare than build a $500 million stadium to be used by a pro team 10 times a year. BMO field and isn't anything better than THF and thats what Toronto will use as its main outdoor venue. Not to mention York stadium has one of the biggest events in track and field and more than half of the stadium is temporary stands and port a poties(not to mention a capacity of 12 500 is ridiculously small for track and field). That's more embarassing than THF IMO.

I'm happy we aren't like the States sinking Billions of dollars into pro stadium for private owners.
