Wow, this is thrilling, we're almost certain to get the Independent, Austin Proper, Fifth and West, Fifth and Brazos, and Waller Park Place. Not to mention everything that's already under construction. Say hello to the new Austin. In 5 years this is going to look like a world-class city, and as the dust settles on all the infrastructure changes and repairs downtown and the new buildings become occupied, we'll find ourselves living in a city with a very walkable and vibrant downtown. Not that it isn't already, but it's been in quite a mess for a few years now.
