I think the only 2 logical places for new NHL arena would be Lebreton/Bayview OR Hurdman. Lebreton & Bayview have the process already underway and a timeline sort-of in place, whereas Hurdman could be redevelopped in 6-7 years or only in 25, who knows?

I really do want to see all the proposals and hope to see the Arena go at Lebreton/Bayview. BUT, if for some reason it doesn't, I really want to know what is chosen instead and especially; why? There better be a good reasoning behind it and not just some "it's not for all canadians" bullshit. Kind of like when they said no to Melnyk for the Casino and instead decided they wanted to "protect" the RCR for no real reason imho...
Then I could really see Melnyk and the whole SENS group getting pissed off again and giving up on the City.
