That screen is awesome, and I know people came out to see it. But it is amazing to see a sold out Brandt Centre! I expect a good crowd for the next home game as people who previously wanted to see it and didn't get tickets will get them for the next game.
I have also heard a rumor that the ownership group owns land (or will own land) in the old rail yards, onto which, rumor says, they plan to build a 10,000-15,000 seat NHL caliber arena. Which, also according to rumor will be paid for entirely by private money. That IMO would be a great boost to the Downtown core, also allow for redevelopment of the Brandt into more City rinks whilst still allowing the Rodeo and other things.
