So I was reading an article in the the.spec.com on Hamilton's appeal to the Niagara Conservation budget request and there was one comment at the bottom that desturbed me. After all of the effort over the years of a lot of people educating the public in the benefits the commenter is complaining about, it is like nothing has been done!

This city council wastes millions each year on things like doomed bus lanes, making one way streets into two way, building medians with flowers that cut main arteries to one lane in each direction as well as widening sidewalks that also reduce traffic to one lane each way. In some areas they are putting up these white posts around corners for no logical reason. These plus many more total waste of tax dollars are done on a daily basis but now they are in a flap about a sum of money they waste almost weekly. I just had to laugh when reading this.
