The proposed uses- hotels and restaurants- will attract patrons who want to vist before and after events at the Canadian Tire Centre, however there is no safe pedestrian route despite their proximity.
A solution to attach a pre-fab bridge structure to the outside of the overpass should be investigated as an interim measure. Failing this, the developer should agree to provide a frequent shuttle service across the highway before and after events at the Canadian Tire Centre.
