The city really missed out with the move of Sci Quest moving further out into Madison. It would have been an excellent opportunity to incorporate the facility with a Planetarium aspect, but alas it didn't work out. And honestly, the Coke site needs a whole new concept of mixed use. If I could play City Planner, I would build a downtown stadium, but on the outside, particularly along the first and third base lines, on the street would be five story apartments. Then, barring if Pollard Street will be still in existence or moved, build up the creek, have a large hotel that could also serve for the VBC, and make sure that the building is at least 8 stories (begrudgingly, we have to settle for he hopes of a building being that high).
