It was a good day for school construction in the Houston region as Katy ISD and Lone Star College bonds were approved by voters.

Voters OK $748 million for Katy schools, stadium



Planning begins for for Katy's $58 million stadium

Lone Star College System wins vote on bond

And more homes mean a need for more schools.

Imperial Sugar Land development attracts new homebuilder
