A lot more going on than I thought!
Seems like the peninsula has filled out enough now that any new building requires the demolition of another reasonably sized building.
I wonder what will happen when the area fills out completely with mid to high rises some day far down the road. It can't be worth it to knock down a 30 story building to build a 50 story building.. Can it?
I wonder which areas bordering downtown would build up first... Perhaps they'll redevelop some of the area around Terminal Avenue.
I guess this situation is far enough down the road that it isn't really even being considered yet.
