I think if Clayton votes yes for MARTA in a few weeks this proposal needs to change from light rail to heavy rail. This would be a great opportunity to create a new line from Jonesboro to Emory/CDC. Instead of Lindberg being the transfer point they can do the transfer at a newly constructed Armour Yard Station. A limited stop shuttle from the new Emory/CDC Station to Decatur station could be created using Clifton Rd, N. Decatur Rd, and Clifton Rd to connect to the Decatur Station. It can be the new Silver Line and new bus route 210. This would unify the system more using existing services instead of trying to build a whole new type of mode that's only going to service a small area. The 210 could easily run at 10 minute headways to make it desirable during the day (5am to 10pm) and then run until train service ends around 1am.
