The original pre-renovation Marborough Inn, which was the smaller of two Coast Plaza Hotel towers as they are now, and looked exactly like the Alt hotel. You may laugh, but it is actually true. I know you downtowners are proud of Alt, and I suppose it does add some rooms no matter how you cut it, but the reality of it is that 1970's Marlborough has already been there and done that. Arguably it was and is successful, so perhaps that's why the compliment of duplication.
