So they now have Waller between Red River and Waller Creek closed to anything but paid parking. The Chain Drive is not yet demolished. Neither are the buildings across Waller. All of the businesses formerly occupying those spaces are gone. The building at Red River and Waller is not yet demolished and still houses one or more businesses. There are signs of change on this parcel, but not enough to convince me that construction is imminent. I sure hope this thing gets built. It just seems too good to be true in terms of the scope and scale of the proposed project.
