Both are (will be) honoring their history by using period artifacts and fixtures but it appears more so at PCM with train tracks, rail cars and other features from the Sears days.
The retail portion feels larger and more open with indoor and outdoor dining options. To me, CM's hallways seem more narrow, lower and darker than PCM's. I'm very imperssed with the way PCM has designed the different levels to add visual interest and a sense of openess.
PCM connects directly into the Beltline. I don't know why but CM does not connect to The Highline although it sits adjacent to this incredible 'park'.
I'm glad Jamestown got to 'practice' on CM before coming home and renovating our space although I predict it will be impossible to get anywhere near the property for months after it opens.
