How many cars actually use Centre St to go downtown? It's a horrible road to drive on (or walk on, to be frank), and it's not very useful - the roads downtown direct you towards Edmonton Trail. I think I've only ever driven on it once.
I say reduce the traffic lanes and build the LRT underground. That would make it much nicer.
