In the long term I hope they invest in more a streetcar type transit system to improve getting around the Beltline, East Village, and West Village so that there can be fewer buses to help other vehicles to get around while providing an efficient transit option for residents to get around the core
The density in the Beltline and core is really increasing so I feel like the City should start planning accordingly to reduce the need for personal vehicles while trying to improve transit efficiency in the area

I really don't see it serving Chinook. I personally see the Heritage area being a lot more serviceable and the area's long term plans are a lot more condusive to being a node. Remember one of the biggest reasons Chinook is a massive transfer point is the 23 terminating there. I really don't see it being the natural transfer point with the industrial-Highway dead space along glenmore. Chinook mall will remain as a major destination and a short transfer to Chinook isn't going cramp anyone too much. When the SE line opens, much the SE traffic will be diverted. If chinook loses the 23, 36, 41 and 136 that is a pretty big hit to its transfer traffic. Heritage is much more natural a transfer station serving with connections to Rockyview and Deerfoot Meadows being particularly easy. (well Deerfoot meadows once they actually extend either the 306 or 20 to quarry park)
