[De Minimis NY]

Yea, I have to agree with NYGuy on this one. If this had been proposed for a different location, say 8th Avenue somewhere near port authority and the NYTimes tower, I would be ecstatic, but this is park avenue right next to Grand Central. The proposal is certainly an improvement over what's currently there, and so we should be generally happy about it, but given the prominence of this location we should really be holding it to the highest possible standard.

A better way of making this point is to say, does anyone really think this is in the top ten of designs proposed or under construction in the city right now? Because this isn't just a top-ten location, it's the number one location undergoing redevelopment at the moment.
