DC and environs are really looking gorgeous these days. As the pics show, 14th street, has retail and/or construction on basically the entire stretch between O and U streets. The dead zones are gone. Same with H street NE, which has turned around even quicker.
I wonder when Noma between the convention center and union station, and the SW waterfronts will be completely built out? Imagine it's still 5-10 years away, but incredible when you consider the condition of these areas just 15 years ago.
