I totally agree that the city should not tear buildings down, nor allow developers to do so without a solid replacement plan that maintains the functional streetwall. I'm glad you've changed your mind about the Gore Park buildings.

As it states clearly in the article, Farr brought the request to tear down the building and replace it with a parkette.
His position on 18-28 King East and 193 King East are contradictory. He cannot bring forward this suggestion to demolish the city-owned property at 193 King Street East to city staff while at the same time blocking a private developer from doing the same thing at 18-28 King Street East.
I am not sure why you think I have changed my mind about the Gore Park buildings. My position on 18-28 King Street East remains exactly the same as when I first posted it
nearly a year ago.
