I love seeing Saint John!
How has the city been faring economically as of late? It seems that a city with this depth of history and established urban fabric, a future population of 250,000-300,000 would look really good on it. Saint John deserves to grow and feature more prominently in the profile of Canadian cities, in my opinion.
An aside - being born and raised in Saskatchewan, I can confirm that my elementary education drilled into me the distinction between Saint John, and St. John's, and that it was NEVER St. John and NEVER Saint John's. There was some prior discussion in the Canada forum that people in other parts of the country get this wrong a lot, so I thought I'd throw in my personal experience.
