Took a look around this weekend and realized when you consider not just the mall and surrounding parking lots but also all the super low intensity (blighted really) land surrounding highland mall with a ton underperforming asphalt and the redevelopment potential of this area starts to look more and more interesting. The time horizon is a bit further out than a place like Mueller, but between the location (proximity to center city and major freeways), favorable zoning, and existing and proposed transit and the commitment of ACC and this could be a pretty big play in the 10 yr time horizon. Worth keeping this on the radar.
