Directly across La Cienega Boulevard from the old 'La Cienega Lanes/Flippers' is another untouched relic, the Alta Cienega Motel.

One reason this small motel has been relatively untouched is that Jim Morrison used to live in room 32!

-in the same vicinity.
I've been trying to remember what venue used to be located just north of the Alta Cienega Motel (northwest of the old Flippers).
-the southwest corner of La Cienega Boulevard & Holloway Drive.

This
noirish looking place encased in all that burnt umber paint has intrigued me for quite some time.
A big source of income for the owners of the property are the two massive billboards.
