Thanks for the photos, Officedweller. This is shaping up nicely.

As an aside, I really like Ocean Concrete's specialty Granville Island Public Market trucks, like this strawberry model. It's a nice bit of whimsy and when combined with their efforts to keep them spotlessly clean, it adds up to Ocean going above and beyond what's normal in the industry. I was taken aback while living in Toronto at how dirty, beat up, and vaguely Mad Max-like the concrete trucks are there.

Back to Telus Garden, I am looking forward to seeing how the pedestrianized lanes come together. They appear to be heavily influenced by the pedestrian walks at Woodwards with the overhead cable-suspended lights. I quite like those spaces and if Telus Garden can blend vehicular access with a successful pedestrian-oriented lane, then I hope that becomes the best-practice for full-block urban sites that incorporate service/parking access (Bay Parkade, Larwill Park, Canada Post, etc.)
