Broken Spoke mixed-use project begins apartment leasing

Austin residents who want to feel a part of Austin music history can now reserve an apartment at The 704, the mixed-use development that encircles the Broken Spoke dance hall in South Austin.
Rents begin at $959 a month for a one-bedroom, 408-square-foot unit. Two bedroom and two bath layouts range from $1,899 to $2,607 a month.
The development at 3503 S. Lamar Blvd. will include 20,000 square feet of retail space, which is 62 percent leased.
