I'm surprised you guys aren't more jazzed about this. This is going to change the feel of Broadway for the better far more than any development project we've discussed, and because they're doing a temporary version first, its literally going to happen overnight.

I see this as planning for the future in a way, to draw in development and new retail/restos. To show the cities' commitment to the street. Broadway will still have exactly the same stuff on it after they install the road diet. There will still be very little reason for me to walk on broadway (let alone hang out and gather). I'd be a lot more excited if they were doing this to Spring. In a few years this will be great, but i definitely think of it as future growth.
