That's pretty exciting. Between Poketo, Apolis, Guerilla and the places in Little Tokyo (Number A, Kinski, AA, and a few others including that awesome vintage shop on first), there is some really good (and almost bountiful) shopping over that way. And all totally walkable. The Arts District especially is shaping up really nicely. There's an Umami Burger going in over there as well.
I was talking to owner of Whitmore (a menswear popup over on west 3rd) and he said he was looking in downtown for a permanent spot as well.
