Detroit's video is pretty good. That city really wants the games. Charlotte's video was really lame and got taken off Youtube becasue of copyright violation. They used part of the Detroit video and the makers of the Detroit video complained. |

Edit - that Austin video was good and all . . .then I was curious and watched the Detroit bid video and pee'd a little. That was incredible. I love how they embrace the industrial city in decline, down but not out theme. Either city would make for a great backdrop - but I feel a bit more for Detroit. I mean, if Austin is the golden child and darling of the media right now as a city to watch and city of the future, Detroit is the red-headed step child everyone loves to trash and wishes would just go away. That's quite a contrast.
