There's also going to be a new 160ft. Arch bridge over shoal creek. Things are starting to get intresting...

Besides the Central Library, the adjacent $18.6 million Lower Shoal Creek improvements will include a 160-foot arch bridge over Shoal Creek that will extend Second Street alongside the library and will encourage bike and pedestrian use. The project also includes trail improvements, landscaping, lighting and stream bank stabilization. The design team for the bridge is URS Corp. and MWM Design group.
