^I hope you're right, especially regarding all the recently announced massive proposals. Great work with all your drawings, by the way. Without you, caltrane, and a couple of other contributors of photos, drawings, and computer renderings, someone like me, who isn't downtown very often, wouldn't know what's going on.
I had no idea Cumberland Terrace is such an old proposal. The oldest still-active highrise developments I can think of are Cityplace and whatever that 20-tower complex at Leslie/Sheppard is called. Cityplace has been under construction for 10-or-so years (and we're waiting for the Signature design), but the other one was nothing but a pile of dirt for more than 5 years. Now it's well underway.
