Wow thats great news. I totally misread the original article, thinking the amazing art deco structure was going to be the hotel.

We'll see if it actually happens. Building to-own condos is still terrifying for developers, though I believe its something downtown needs a lot more of.

I haven't seen construction on the Singer building, though I'll have to take a closer look this weekend. And the Spring St buildings haven't done anything either.
