The Harrisville Kent store will definitely be a relocation of the store on Champlain St. I gather that PlazaCorp now owns the Champlain St property and has plans to expand their adjacent retail plaza.
I have often wondered about the future of the Champlain Place Sobeys as I find it rather incongruous to have a grocery store in an upscale fashion mall but several knowledgeable people that I have been in communication with seem to feel that there are no plans to move this store. One person even suggested the store was to be renovated and expanded.
