The original Brilliant Bridge in Castlegar BC. Built in 1913 by hand by the Doukhobours who could not read english. They could only go by the pictures! It served to link the highway from Castlegar to Nelson over the Kootenay River till 1966. This bridge has been fully restored as a pedestrian only and is now a national historic site of Canada.
